Before becoming Associate Counsel at Shapiro, Hankinson & Knutson Law Corporation, Rod was a partner at Jones McCloy Peterson. He has taught commercial and corporate law, marketing and economics at Kaduna Polytechnic in Nigeria.
Roderick is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, the Vancouver Bar Association and the Personal Property Security Act Users Forum. He is an active participant in seminars, a lecturer for various industry groups, and the author of articles for British Columbia Continuing Legal Education.
Roderick has held multiple executive positions with community groups around Vancouver, and is currently President of Kidsport Canada and of the Vancouver Naval Museum & Heritage Society.
