As a principal of Shapiro Hankinson & Knutson Law Corporation, Seema practices in general commercial and civil litigation with a focus on builders liens, construction litigation, insurance law and employment law, including human rights matters. Seema also has experience in a range of corporate and commercial matters.
Seema has appeared before all levels of court as well as administrative tribunals and also has experience in mediations.
Seema is a member of the CBA Lawyer Referral/Dial-A-Law Subcommittee and is a volunteer lawyer with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada - B.C. Division's Volunteer Legal Advocacy Program. She also lectures to engineering students and interior design students and acts as a volunteer judge for articled students in the Professional Legal Training Course.
