The managing director of Shapiro Hankinson & Knutson Law Corporation, Stuart specializes in the management of complex construction matters. He provides legal counsel to design professionals, insurers, owners, contractors, developers, and construction and project managers. Stuart is a regular lecturer at construction and design professional seminars and workshops for Insight Education Services, Agenda Management Limited, the Canadian Institute and others.
Stuart is a past chairman of the Canadian Bar Association - Construction Law Section, and a member of several organizations including the Law Society of British Columbia, the Law Society of Alberta, the British Columbia Construction Roundtable, as well as a charter member of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers.
