Craig Wallace is a principal of SHK with over 30 years of experience in construction, insurance and commercial litigation. He frequently acts as counsel for design professionals, construction managers, owners and contractors in all manner of construction disputes. His background as a Professional Engineer enables him to provide knowledgeable and cost-effective representation to these parties in complex technical cases.
Craig also frequently represents insurers in coverage disputes. His broad commercial litigation practice includes cases involving bonding, builders liens, product liability, directors’ and officers’ liability and shareholder disputes.
Craig is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC), as well as the Law Societies of British Columbia and Alberta. He is a regular lecturer on the legal aspects of construction and the design professions, and lectures in APEGBC courses and continuing education seminars.
Craig is an adjunct professor at UBC and lectures in its Civil Engineering Department, teaching courses on law for engineers and geoscientists. Learn more about this program here.
